Release history

v0.7 Latest

Vue 3 export, scoped styles, and Composition API

The second target framework is here. Exports now include Vue 3 single-file components using Composition API, with scoped CSS that respects your token naming conventions. Switching between React and Vue targets requires no re-import.

  • Vue 3 SFC export with Composition API setup function
  • Scoped styles using CSS custom properties from your token file
  • Multi-target export: generate React and Vue from the same import in one job
  • Variant-to-prop mapping now supports Vue emits for state changes
  • Fixed edge case where deeply nested alias chains could resolve to undefined
v0.6

REST API endpoint for CI generation

The generation API is live for Pro and Team plans. Trigger a component generation job from your CI pipeline with a single curl call. Jobs run asynchronously and return a download URL when complete, so your pipeline does not have to wait.

  • POST /v1/systems/:id/generate endpoint with framework and output-format params
  • Async job status polling via GET /v1/jobs/:id
  • API key management under workspace settings
  • Webhook support for job completion notifications
  • Rate limit headers on all API responses
v0.5

Alias chain resolution and Figma variable import

The resolver now follows alias chains of arbitrary depth. A token that references another token that references a primitive will resolve correctly all the way down. The Figma variables export path has been simplified to a single click in the Figma plugin.

  • Full alias chain resolution including circular reference detection
  • Figma variables export via one-click plugin panel button
  • Mode group support: light/dark and compact/comfortable modes in one import
  • Token diff view showing what changed between two imports
  • Improved error messages when a token references a missing primitive
v0.4

Prototype builder canvas and interactive state wiring

The prototype builder lets you connect generated components into interactive flows before you export. Link component states, define click navigation paths, and export a self-contained HTML prototype that shares the exact token-driven styles as your production output.

  • Drag-and-drop canvas for assembling component flows
  • Click interaction: link any state to any other component or screen
  • Export prototype as self-contained HTML, zero dependencies
  • Prototype shares live token values with production export
  • Share link for stakeholder review, no login required
v0.3

Tailwind CSS output and configurable class naming

React exports can now output Tailwind utility classes instead of CSS modules. The class naming convention and file structure are fully configurable through a .designverse.json config file in your project root.

  • Tailwind output mode for React: utility classes derived from token values
  • .designverse.json config for class prefix, file structure, and naming convention
  • Support for custom CSS property naming patterns in CSS modules mode
  • Barrel file output (index.ts) for all generated components
v0.2

Variant maps to props, hover and focus state generation

Component variants defined in your token file are now mapped to React props automatically. Hover and focus states are generated from your interactive token set and output as CSS classes, not inline styles.

  • Variant-to-prop mapping: each Figma variant becomes a typed React prop
  • Hover, focus, and active states from interactive tokens
  • TypeScript type definitions generated alongside component files
  • Disabled state token support across all interactive components
  • Storybook story file output alongside each generated component
v0.1 First release

First early access release: Token Studio import and React export

The first version of DesignVerse. Import a Tokens Studio JSON export, map your primitives and semantic aliases, and generate a React component library with CSS modules. Available to early access teams on request.

  • Tokens Studio JSON import with primitive and semantic alias parsing
  • React JSX component generation with CSS modules output
  • CSS custom properties for all resolved token values
  • Download as zip or copy single component to clipboard
  • Web dashboard for managing design systems and generation jobs
